THE THANG INTRODUCTION:
Today’s Thang was an Iron Pax Prep workout originally designed by Roll Tide and completed at the Yard on 8-29-2019. Lots of mumble chatter at the words “Iron Pax Prep”, but YHC reminded the PAX that in 2019 the PAX completed the sequence with extra time at the end for an extended Mary… So we got to work:
Welcome to the Poconos:
4 rounds
12 pull ups
12 squats
12 merkins
Run a lap around Pocono
(Pocono Racetrack is a 3 turn track – similar to the parking lot where we plant the flag)
10 burpees
10 derkins
10 star jacks
Run a lap around Pocono
After completing the sequence – with time to spare we:
Mosey – follow the leader style – around lot to hill de Pocono at the front entry – snaked up and down the entire length (about 20 up and downs), then followed the leader around the stripes back to the Flag.
MARY:
LBC – 20 OYO
Turkish Get Ups – 5 OYO
