COT:
We talked about the verse of the day – Proverbs 27:17:

Iron sharpens iron,
and one man sharpens another.

Our thoughts – To sharpen a blade, one uses a harder and rougher piece of iron to rub against it. This is not comfortable.
The friction caused by this interaction wears away the dull edge and reveals a sharper, more effective tool.

Myrtle pointed out that when sharpening a blade you must maintain a consistent angle otherwise one swipe will sharpen, the next inconsistent swipe will dull, just like in life consistency is key.

Are you being sharpened? Any other thoughts on this verse?

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
MAY 13 will be HUGE.
